Paper Boats

Remember when,
You made
Paper boats
And named them
After me?
Black & white
Like the world
We knew.
Until,
The newspaper print
It stained
Our fingers grey.
Yours from folding
And mine
From holding yours.

Thank you, Mehvish. :)

Thank you, Majid. I hope this dosti stays forever. Haha. Try making paper boats from glazed papers.

Very inspired poem! You know, you really should consider submitting some of your writing to a publication. Rattle Magazine would be a good start. You can submit just about any kind of poem you like and it gets you eligible for a Neil Postman Award.

I loved the phrase. Small little moments that make life worth living..
